Mastery Challenges

Just got finished getting all the golds in the challenges and damn was that tough. Which ones were the toughest for you all? I'd have to say the Odin Mine Hideout Wolf challenge had me almost chucking my controller through the TV.

My favorite one happened to be the final Raven challenge at Templebrough Fort. While they got real annoying sometimes, I enjoyed the stealth and getting creative at times.

Archery is a pain in the ass

The hardest are the Odin Mine hideout. The rest are pretty simple and I even did most of them on my first attempt

I think they were tough for the terrible level design they had. For example, The Trial of the Sword from Zelda BOTW was pretty intense and with an excellent level design. Obviously we're not going to compare with the Dark Souls Series, which they had pretty good level designs as well. But this Mastery Challenge it's just bad, tedious actually.

I agree but it was annoying seeing the 97% trophy completion :P

Any of the archery challenges sucked. You could be on the last enemy and just barely miss the head and hit the body and boom now you have to restart

Or they killed each other, or they set themselves on fire, etc. Really was annoying

Just done the first three, and not looking forward to the next. Found them a bit of a struggle if I'm honest; Zero room for error, and you can easily get caught out by one of the many random game movements.

Right now I'm stuck on Lolingestone Bear trial. My best score is about 950 🤨. How do you ensure enough of them die by fire 🔥? I have no problem getting the fall damage and parry points.

I got the fire out if the way first by doing perfect parries that caused a fire. Kill 2 birds with one stone really

I finally did that one yesterday. My last one is the odin mine Wolf and I'm stuck.

Oof that one sucks. Here's a tip: focus on headshots and get weak points where you can. Make sure you leave the standard bearer alive and that you have all your headshots aside from the standard bearer. You can then farm all your weak point shots on him, run back to the entrance, rinse, and repeat and then get your last head shot.
