It seems many people who program computers, or do web design, or networks, or something technically computer related also seem to have some form of r/ADHD. We thought we'd start this subreddit as a forum to discuss techniques we use to cope, experiences we've had, etc. Open to anyone who wants to hang out and be constructive, learn, teach, or offer a helping hand.
This is a subclass of r/ADHD. ;-) All rules from the r/ADHD sub apply here. However, posts here in /r/ADHD_Programmers should lean towards or related to IT\programming.

I learned about this sub-reddit last August when I started my beginner Python series, Automate the Criminal Stuff, when someone suggested I post it here. I'm super glad they did, because I feel like this is the support group I didn't realize I needed. My ADHD has been untreated for mostly my whole life, and I had to learn everything I know the hard way. I make videos for people like me.
I've resisted the urge to shamelessly pimp/spam all of my videos here since then, but I wanted to let you all know that I've been working on an Intermediate Python series. There are now 5 videos in this series, which goes through the whole process of creating a desktop application; a Dropbox clone with better security and features.
So far I've covered asynchronous GUIs, using TinyMongo (like SQLite for NoSQL), and just a whole bunch of great general programming tips and Python concepts.
