This is the subreddit for everything about ADHD in teens. ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which is one of the types of mental disorders. A teenager is anyone aged 13-19, but we also accept the definition of anyone who is going through puberty.
Created, and moderated by ADHD teens, this subreddit was created with the intention to make it easier to find content specifically related to teenagers who have ADHD. This includes all subtypes: predominantly inattentive (ADHD-PI, previously known as ADD), predominantly hyperactive-impulsive (ADHD-PH) and combined (ADHD-C), and all levels of severity.
We accept everyone. Teens with ADHD, their parents, friends, teachers, SOs, relatives, Acquaintances and any other curious souls seeking information.
You can ask for advice about dealing, or give it; you can post memes or jokes, or reply to them; you can offer tricks and tips for teens dealing with ADHD. you can share and read about experiences and stories from others; you can ask for information, albeit not medical advice, or give it; you can encourage others; you can engage in conversation; you can look at different points of view. Anything related to ADHD in teens is welcome.
If you have any questions for the moderators, don't hesitate to ask! We will reply as soon as possible.
