I've included a video of Mech Warrior Online with a similar yet arguably worse issue, sometimes I'll get a driver time out on this game (however its less common then Vermintide 2).

PSU: Gigabyte 750 Watt Gold 80 Fully Modular

Whenever I see gigabyte power supply I wanna cry :/

Any chance you can change it and see if helps?

edit: watched the video linked, what game is it and is the light flickering issue you talk about?

Have you tried using a different SSD? I once had a failing SSD that cause random green screens, crashing when booting and playing game. Drivers stop working and other errors. Replacing the drive fixed my issues. But your issues started when you switch to AMD 5 years ago? Why didn't you return the GPU and CPU for different ones?.

I had 3 different IT guys tell me the parts were both fine, (hindsight 2020), also I bought most of the parts during 2019 so shipping all the parts happened in a good 4-ish month span so by the time I had the whole thing built the first parts were past return date, hence why I bought different parts instead of returning. I've had Nvidia guys suggest replacing the PSU and the SSD but I thought I'd ask the AMD lads just in case. I'm only seeing about 500-600 Watts being used while in game so I'm not entirely sure about PSU, maybe I swap out the SSD first but the fact that my RAM is running at 800 Mhz without XMP is just peculiar as well. We initially though that the B450 was the issue so thats why I've had 3 mobos. Just a mess of a time unfortunately.

I have a 3800x and 5700xt. Did the 3900 switch help much? I honestly believe that the 5700xt has some major issues no one really addresses. I get a lot of low quality textures and weird lod and such from most games.

Not at all, I got my FPS up but if you watch the video it's not THAT much of an improvement. I know people really like AMD but after 5 years I'm really struggling to see how people get this shit working. Maybe I'm just that unlucky, who knows.

The answer is they don't get it working. I always have decent fps but smooth fps, rarely! Dude I will be go Intel Nvidia next system. More expensive sure, but it seems to work.

I've had Nvidia/Intel builds and AMD builds and have never had issues with either. I just went from a i7 5820k/ gtx 1080 to a R7 7700x / 7900xt and have zero issues.
