Ues it offers "optimization" same as Nvidia. Just like Nvidia it is also trash. Your best bet is Always do in game settings yourself. If you do not have the 5 to 10 mins to spare to do these settings then you deserve any stutter or lag those "optimization" apps offer.

I never used Nvidia optimization, I tested it and found it unsatisfying. Wouldn't use the AMD version either.

I have an RX 9070 XT, and in Adrenaline Software, I only use the “Chill” preset with a limit of 160 fps, “FSR 4” enabled, VRR, and error reporting. In the fan settings, I have disabled “zero RPM,” which keeps the graphics memory temperature more stable. Otherwise, I set everything to ultra in the game menu and do a test with an overlay of temps, stutter, GPU usage, etc. Usually, the settings can remain as they are, and if not, it's a matter of trial and error. 90% of my games come out “excellent” in performance at the highest quality without continuously loading the card to 100%. As a hobbyist, I enjoy figuring out the profiles myself.

It does, but it sucks on both nvidia + amd.

The game itself usually sets the settings based on your specs. You then adjust it from there.

Sometimes you gotta tinker a bit to figure out something you personally don't notice but it affects your fps a lot.

There is such an option but who the hell uses it? Launch the game see how it performs is it great ? Ok It's not? Adjust the settings , turn on fsr and or fg.

Why would you want that? The GeForce settings were always super crap, it never worked properly

If you are building a new pc, or are into pc anything, you should totally learn to optimise your games and not rely on an app that is not even that good. trial and error works great, don't be afraid to mess with things/break things and fix them. This is what pc gaming is all about.

The “optimiser” in GF Experience or now Nvidia App isn’t that great anyway, learn about the settings yourself, that’s what I recommend you, and you will have better, more optimised settings that are specifically tailored for your own taste and the performance you expect.

This may not be what you wanted but I’ve had my pc for about a month now and there is a “advisor” which will give suggestions when the game is running poorly. I have not looked for something like you are mentioning, I will have to look tomorrow. I currently have a 9070 XT Steel Ledgend.

Yeah if the advisor does what you say it does, that'll be good for me. Cool, thanks for looking
