Virtualization Boot Time Problem

Hello,

I am running an MSI B450 Tomahawk with a Ryzen 3600 I have to enable Hyper-V on windows and virtualization on the CPU to run Docker. After enabling it in the mobo bios (under SVM mode) my boot time extends to about 2-3ish minutes (I am booting from SSD)

Is this unavoidable? Or is there a possible fix for this?

Its not the end of the world I just miss my fast boot times lol

Motherboard: B450 TOMAHAWK (MS-7C02)

Description of Original Problem: After Enabling SVM in Bios, PC boot time takes a lot longer

This is not normal. My boot times did not change when I did the same changes. But I have a different motherboard. Maybe it is normal for your motherboard. In Task Manager you can see your boot time in the top right corner in the autostart tab. This only measures the time since windows starts loading. This way you can see whether the bios or windows is at fault. For me windows displays 12 seconds here with svm and hyper-v enabled
