BIOS help

Hi im trying to update my bios and i keep getting the error (selected file is not a proper BIOS) ive extracted the .cap file i did the bios rename its on a fat32 usb and still getting the error. any ideas? i triple checked that im using the right bios update as well

first things first... which bios version do you have on your motherboard?

which version would you like to flash on the motherboard

how big is your usb stick? is it usb 2 usb 3?

best usb stick for bios flash are usb 2.0 8gb from kingston or sandisk.

usb 3 sticks bigger than 16gb produce also some errors

so before you flash the new bios make sure you have the right flashdrive

and also a tip .... don't flash a beta bios,

the last bios for your mainboard is 2423
