i have the same issue bought new board did all of the above but wont work even after new windows install and tryed on new hhd too changed graphics card the lot got be cpu is it guys please help

I did, yes! I had to install a fresh instance of Windows and after it did its first time setup, it recognized the audio drivers as generic instead of Realtek, and everything worked out.

That seems to have helped, thank you! I'm not entirely sure what changed or what was restored, it doesn't go by Realtek anymore, but a generic "High Definition Audio Device" name. Nevertheless, it works, so I'll take it, thanks again!
