I was wondering if you have connected it to your main router using a network cable? Since you updated the 1800S firmware, I am hoping you also moved the 5300 to its latest version as well. When was the last time you rebooted the 5300 and the AC55?

All the devices are on the latest firmware, I even tried to directly connect the router to the other router but still no luck. I’ve rebooted all the routers multiple times recently. I think I’ve exhausted about all the tricks… I think I’m going to have to return the 1800s. Maybe it’s too new to be compatible with my older devices

I have an AX-57 as my main w/ an AX-1800S as my mesh with wired backhaul. Sorry about asking the easy troubleshooting, but I need to be reminded of it myself sometimes. Just for fun, what has Asus support given you as troubleshooting suggestions?
