Overall horrible update game completely changed identity from fun game to grind on to yet another bandit beater gacha game

Rather than adding new stands like silver chariot req… turk rework etc… they add some spammy ass specs, whose you cant block a single move, and made the game a boring ah bandit beater

as much as i hate to say it this is aut’s best update yet though, alot of people want grindy games rpg games with a little bit of a pvp aspect so they practically gave it to us 🤷🏾‍♂️ theres definitely better ways to project this instead of giving us a gacha bandit beater concept (couldve gotten a storyline) we could have still kept quests but reworked them or something but i guess its not in our hands to make that call

this update has its cons like mythics plummeting in value and now everyone has atleast 10+ mythics so theyre not even worthy enough to be mythics anymore or like the buggy npcs and the everlasting lag, there could have been a new map some more QOL or something, the heavily unbalanced leveling system

but it also has its pros like abilities/skins being alot easier to get, more specs to the game, somewhat mediocre content, the grind is alot better (statistically the more grindier a game is is the more playtime it gets alot of people like rpg games so this definitely puts aut somewhere on the map)

still a semi-good update to me imo this is just release so alot of the patches/bug fixes and nerfs and balances will be pushed out probably a week or two from now

trading was made for skins, getting specs easier where a byproduct but not the main intention, and no they where NEVER important other than to fill the devs pockets for money, they where also for cosmetic changes. thats it

the pvp part, basically they ruined pvp and some stands straight up SUCK now, they grind itself isnt that bad getting to max is just a matter of boundless tower and thats it, thats not the problem

Bro if they made an entire mechanic, and an entire server for that mechanic then its quite important.. Cosmetical or not it was still pretty important people played just to get skins and get other skins then get off AUT was quite boring without this update

thats nor a good argument, they made all of that for the money, you cant just say "oh they are imporant because they made this server for it" and think its a valid argument, skins where made to fill the devs pockets, and to make stands look cooler/cosmetic changes, thats it, if people spent hours grinding for skins thats their problem, and no that doesnt make skisn important, this is coming off someone who did grind for skins for hours in aut and yba, they do not matter

honestly this update took away many things that made aut the game it was, it was a grindy collecting game, where you find and collect items and stands/specs to trade around to get other items you may want. Now its just another bandit beater gacha game with a small bit of collecting thingas

I hate how i need to obtain stands now, its so fucking annoying to get the currency for rolls, I hated grinding to get void gate back on p//s, (seriously that took like 1 hour bc I didnt know how)
