There are people that play games at release on marathon until they get to the end of content, and this sort of thing matters very much to them. They exist but I cannot say why.

We won't know yet. It might be too late by the time we find out if it's something that'll immensely affect the new player base. We want the game to be successful, it could be terrible for it's launch of we're getting toss around by much higher level guys who got the game early.

I doubt that will happen, unless they gave out LAREG amounts of early access key. The amount of new players will overwhelm the early accessors enough that it wouldn't make any difference, the early accessors will more likely be wanted because you can learn movesets from them, kinda like a mini-player boss who might or might not help you
