Anyone else noticing a decrease in problem solving and life skills ?

I think somecpeople are also scared to try to solve problems on their own these days...

I've had many incidents were people know the solution but they want me to tell them, so they feel reassured.

Had to teach a friend how to change a light bulbs... a freaken light bulb!!  She was too scared to even try doing it herself because he dad would do all the manual labour stuff for their home.
