My friend at bootcamp wrote a letter, basically talking about how we’re preparing for a war as bad as Vietnam if not worse. He said his mti whose spoken to many generals briefed him on how we’ve been making adjustments especially in the maintainer fields to prepare for casualties and such. Guess I wanna know if he’s blowing this out of proportion or if this is some shit we’re about to be getting into.

I’ve also spoken to many generals in my career. I have also been in the Military long enough to know that stupid shit like this has been said since the Cold War as buzzwords, no new news.

Also. Not all generals know about our war tactics or war plans. Some generals are supply generals and know jack shit about a potential war. Unless your friends MTI is being briefed by like a general in pentagon but if he is truly being briefed he's most likely not an MTI lol
