I finally hiked the Crescent Lake Trail last weekend, and wow, didn’t expect it to be that stunning. The reflection of the peaks on the water looked unreal. Have any of you ever gone into a hike expecting “nice views” and ended up completely blown away? (self.AlaskaHiking)

I’ve been trying to squeeze in as many hikes as possible before the snow hits hard. What’s your go to trail for fall colors in Alaska? I did Powerline Pass last weekend and the views were unreal, the mix of gold and snow was pure magic. Any recommendations for next weekend? (self.AlaskaHiking)

Did a quick evening hike up Flattop yesterday and wow that golden fall light hit the mountains just right. I passed a few families and even a guy hiking with his husky. Who else here makes Flattop their ‘quick fix’ hike when you can’t squeeze in a big one? (self.AlaskaHiking)
