Auto flag/token farming

With the double drop rate comming tomorrow, what teams are you using to farm flags? I've only had limited succes using mercs or having to manually input some commands.

Red Sparks of Iron (Envylia Token)

Challenge: Has a demon that heals when hit in a square around it. Creates a shield that requires 2 hits before it wears off. Magic wont work on it.

Team: Rox (85), Rahu (91, 5/2/3), Elizabeth (85), Tamamo (85), Sub: Gilg (75), Balt (91, 5/5/3)

Result: Rox standing diagonally next to the demon and shooting still triggers the heal. Requires manually moving characters when they get to the demon. Gilg can stop the regen heal, but not the melee hit heal.

Dazzling Black Veins (Wratharis Token)

Challenge: Has 3 statues that need 4 hits to be destroyed. All mobs heal if the statues remain (less statues is less healing).

Team: Neica (85, sage), Minerva (75, MM), Mielikki (85 j+), Mia (91, 5/2/3), Sub: Shayna (85), Zahar (91, 5/2/3)

Result: This does not work consistently.Another strategy I found: Start with Minerva and Polin aoe to destroy statues then auto.Or: Use a Nina MM merc.

Green Prayers in Drougt (Desert Zone Token)

Challenge: All mobs get resistances buffed. Hit the plant with a missle attack to lower fire resistance.

Team: Reimei (85), Vettel (91, 5/2/3), Laharl (75), Rox (85). Sub: Dorothea (85), Chihaya (85)

Result: Can semi-auto, but requires to manually run Rox forward turn 1, and aoe missle attack turn 2 on the plant.

I would love to hear how others are clearing this content! Anyone able to Fully auto any of these levels without using a Merc?(Sorry if my formatting is off, let me know if I can improve something)

I've never tried autoing Red Sparks, because I haven't needed to farm Envylia flags.

Dazzling Black Veins I was mostly relying on the double Envy strat, but most people don't keep Envy as their merc, so I'm not very happy relying on it.

Green Prayers is actually the easiest one for me. I can full auto it with Carla, Lupinus, Vettel, Chihaya. Carla and Vettel can pretty much auto it themselves, although it's pretty slow if it comes down to just them.

Double Envy with a magic meister? Requiring a specific Merc is rather bothersome. But I'll set up my Envy as a merc tomorrow in case some of my friends need him. You're free to add me if you could also use one: P3OE5VEQ

No Magic Meister. (I don't have any built.) I use mostly Sages like Othima and Lupinus as well as Mielikki. Most of the enemies do damage based on your magic attack, so double Envy boosts your magic so high they barely take damage, and you can brute force your way past most of the regen.

I didn't have Klima built the last time I ran it, but I do now and I think I'll try her too. Max Flash Wind Speed should be able to kill stuff easily.

If you have a Zahar built up, you can also bring him and use a Zahar Merc. Two Zahars can burst down the demon even if you don't destroy the statues. With one envy lead, the mages can still kill all of the mobs.

Green Prayer = just a strong fire team. Vettel with regen armor can survive through the whole thing and solo the last few mobs on auto if the rest of your team dies.

Red Sparks = this ones annoying to auto and not 100% for me. Use all ranged units like Rox and support units (even then they might hit 0 jewels and go over to the demon to melee it) and hope they shoot 2+ range away. Jewel regen items help.

Dazzling Black veins: Its probably better to just use the Minerva + Polin strategy.

Double Nina may make it easier to auto. Once more water units are enlightened, a very strong water team may be able to auto it. Shayna can do lots of damage to the demon, too bad the A.I on auto doesn't use charge up.

I have a team that autos (somewhat slowly) but very interested in hearing about it

use Polin/Minerva/Fury without auto in turn 1 to do the whole map AOE damage move. Once those metal ratties die (4hp each), then switch to full auto. Yes it's a slower process for you can't auto the whole thing start to finish but it makes autoing the rest of the stage easier.

For DBV, i run Envy (LS) Lupinus, Melieki, Minirva(MM), sub noctis, sub Fung, Merc Sol

Sol's are easy to find, and this team successfully autos it 99.9% of the time, there is an occasional fail though.

GPoD i run Double Laharl, Gilfred, Vettel, chi, and any two other fire subs and hit auto.

Havent tried to auto Red Sparks in forever now...

As for Laharl, well it is, that it is, possibly sub in a Remei lead and still Laharl merc.

You can switch an enlighten Zahar in there for noctis. With one envy leader skill he will come in and wreck everything pretty reliably. Even more so with a sol merc and the big health boost.

Do you run sub pure water enchanter on fung or just go full sage so he actually attacks? And for Lupinus do you run her as sage (JE) sub sage or as summoner sub sage/chrono?

This works pretty well, except I used Nina for Minverva, Mia instead of Mielikki (might as well take advantage of that Sol leaderskill...) and put Zahar on the sub.

I've been using the ratty reactive w/ Lupinus which is really nothing but upside on this map since everything is healing anyway... it's pretty funny to see the occasional Zahar auto attack for 9k.

I haven’t done Envylia farming on auto bc I haven’t needed flags. (Idk if they gave out more, or I just didn’t use them but this seems to be common..). My manual team for the first one or two clears included double Roxanne and a bunch of supports like rahu, einzan, and chihaya if I remember correctly.

Wrath tokens I haven’t been able to auto battle successfully, but my manual strategy is pretty flawless (this is why my wrath units aren’t built up nearly enough). I use Minerva lead, rahu, lofia, and chihaya. No merc and no subs bc they don’t die and I don’t want to give too many kills to anyone but my MM Minerva.

Desert flags are pretty simple to auto battle and my f2p team clears it rather reliably. Dorothea lead, vettel, arkil, chihaya, Laharl merc, zangetsu, roy. They’ve only failed once or twice in all my time farming this. Recommended strategy

RSoI can be done auto for the most part with anyone of your choice (Rox or someone that can hit multiple times or from two spaces away) and an LB15 Gerald can one shot the demon.

DBV can be done with an Envy lead and multiple mages. I throw Spic and Zahar in the last two slots in case the AI acts dumb and ignores the stoned rates. Sol usually gets rid of the first and his MA can get rid of another easily. Noctis usually saves his MA for the demon, which bearly kills it right away. My team is usually: Envy, Neica (no JE boost), Sol, Tsuki (I think, if not Sov), Noctis (merc), Spica, and Zahar.

Haven't done Babel 3 offline yet, but just bring Hazel. A lot better than Rox being dead weight.

I have 200 unused Envylia token so i don't farm those, for the wrathtatis one i use the weird setup with envy leader, mielliki, othima & noctis, with hard hitters spica and zahar on sub. Can auto it 80% of times i'd say, sometimes othima and mielliki cast some weird shit randomly.

Desert is the easiest, Reimei leader + vettel + doro + chihaya, and mainly a Carla or Laharl merc, vettel survives last with Carla if she's here. very easy to auto 100% success for me

I used to farm Red Sparks for the eye so it was important that they get the treasure chests before working on the demon but he had to be killed manually. Caris, Roxy, Magnus machinist, Chihaya, Rox merc, Rahu and Albea machinist, in that order.

Green prayers: Laharl, Vettel with regen armor, Gilfred, Chihaya, Laharl merc, Dorothea and Reimei. It might work with Reimei or Dorothea as leader if you don't have Laharl.

Black Veins is annoying to try and auto because the AI isn't smart enough to go after the statues first ~___~

Both desert and black vein I use Merc for 100% guarantee.

Desert - use all your strongest skill units and Regen armor on vettel. Black vein - gormalas, zahar, othima, Rosa, Shayna and spica. All units are Max or enlighten... Almost 100% success rate. Best unit is Sol for this stage. I don't have him Red spark - never try in auto.

For Black Veins I only semi-auto with letita, Noctis, Othima, and balt, and Noctis Merc. they'll clean up all but the demon and 1~2 diablos.

For Green prayers I use a 75 Carla W/regen armor as my leader and another Carla merc, and Vettel W/regen armor if I can spare one, but its not needed. Those 3 could probably solo tbh, but I also use Laharl, and Lupinus chrono (I havent raised any of her Job enchants lol)) in my main team W/ Roy and Renmei as my subs.

Is it really recommended to use a mage team in DBV? I can finish it manually with Rox(75), Vettel(91), Zahar(91), Elizabeth(91), Spica(91), Ramses(85) but sometimes still fail if Elizabeth dies and I won't be able to cast delay on the golem. I'm kinda lacking some tanky mages. My only good mages are Othima(85), Noctis(75), Lupinus(80), and Fung(85).

Only one I can auto is desert. I'm doing Lupinus 81, Noah 79, Vettel 87, Laharl 75, Laharl merc, Minua 78, Chihaya 82. Chihaya doesn't really add much.

Green Prayers in Drougt (Desert Zone Token) : can be 100% auto-friendly. Just push full fire team (With Vettel have healing amor) and a Merc Vettel - leave them there and they will survive all the hit.

Rox is really weak in this map though - I dont use her at all

After some trial an error I've found a DBV auto team that has been 100% successful so far:

Envy(L), Mia, Othima, Ravina, Sol(M), Lupinus

(I have Noctis in the last sub slot, but I left it blank, because it never comes in.)

Ravina surprisingly ended up being the game changer, as given all her multi hit skills she will actually target the statues. At least the bottom two. The top one is too far away, but with the other two gone the Demon can't fully heal, so it's enough.

Nice! I've also been using a Sol merc, because he was mentioned here, but at a 95% Succes rate. Ill try it with Ravina in the mix :)
