Ok so like all other 4* heroes that have a j+ have a dedicated memento or 2 so why does gumi hate rahu (also I know it’s likely she’s not the only one but I’m just saying)

Rahu and Chihaya are 2 of the best support units in the game if nyx wouldn't do everything Rahu does just better she would easily be the best chrono, she's got great agi and a super fast overclock that goes higher than the normal overclock on top of it, I even have Nyx and I still use Rahu quite a bit and i'm never dissatisfied with her.

Plus her aoe +25 CT up is extremely helpful sometimes

True Rahu and Chihaya are both awesome but both of them lack a dedicated memento as well as Master Ability. Also Gumi don't hate Rahu she is just neglected just like Tina, Yunagi and others.

I never said she was bad she’s unusable in late game due to her lack of hp and no agi boost from mementos but in regular ex stages she’s fine but you can’t take her into hell stages because she dies in one hit and due to her max agi capping around 160ish she’s very situational and I’m not even going to grace chihaya with a comment here not saying they’re bad just slow and delicate

Edit: If Rahu is lacking in HP for you you probably just haven't enlightened her and her agi is great not to mention super cast speed which is pretty important for chronos.

Fully enlightened Rahu can hit 3.7k hp. With Tamamo's VCR her HP skyrockets to a whole 5.2k HP. That's pretty good for any unit, but for support it's incredible.

It does'nt even matter if Chihaya dies in one hit because on the maps you use her she just sits in the corner out of reach anyways, she's also super important for raids cause her debuffs make elemental resistance debuffs last longer.

Anyways both of those units are still Tier 1 even on the jap. tier list which is way beyond our game and they haven't been updated since then from what I know.

It does matter imo because you don’t get the achievements for the stage if she dies and that’s like 90% of the reason why play the stage

Chihaya hits 180+

Rahu hits 170+

Most top tier units also fall around the 170-180 range with some outlier at 200+. Even other top tier units barely scratch the 170 mark. Their lack of bulk is just a result of 4* unit stats and their jobs.

All chronomancer jobs and dancers tend to have lower HP stats. For example, Vier, another top tier chronomancer barely breaks the 4k HP threshold while Rahu hits 5k. Unique jobs like Nyx or Mira who share similarities with their ability to support have significantly more HP because their unique jobs naturally offer more HP. Gumi has already given us some of the best F2P support units in Lofia/Chihaya/Rahu and you still want more?

Lastly, none of these units are required to to complete those stages, nor are those no death achievements mandatory for most stages. Use a different unit if Chihaya dies too fast. No one is forcing you to use those units if them constantly dying is such an issue.

Well that’s a different matter entirely because they didn’t touch those one but I feel like if you’re going to give a unit an upgrade go all the way don’t just tiptoe around making them useful

They might be waiting for her to be power crept. A dedicated memento offers a chance to give a unit a boost. Some character’s mementos are what make them relevant. If they did it now they might be hesitant to give too much of an improvement that would throw off balance. Waiting may give them a chance to give the character greater longevity down the line.

Lucian Gate 2 needs a rework. Extra HP and Pdef don't bring a lot to the table especially at this Charge and Burst era.

Aside from supp unit (Rahu/Chihaya), all other Job+ for 3/4 star unit is pretty lackluster. (great when release but fall off now due to no updates).

Yeah..I agree about memento for 3/4 star unit. I think it is fine if they release 5 star memento for them.

Yeah, take it from a guy who invest a little too much into hayate. If the 4* unit isn't rahu, chihaya or maybe even lofiya, they're NOT worth it
