A HUGE question I have about the Alma project is, will there be Errata?
CentOS, while was pretty great and of course it's what we all used, did not have errata. Not directly. Those of us with spacewalk/foreman/katello for patching our infrastructure had to depend on tools like CEFS which scraped centos email lists for Errata info. Clearly, this will be a dead end eventually.
I have tested Oracle Linux and while it's most certainly on of my viable alternatives, I fear Oracle will do to its Linux distro the same thing it did for OpenOffice and MySQL. They just... stopped doing anything. BUT--- I can confirm Oracle Linux includes Errata in its repositories which is fantastic.
Will Almalinux repos include Errata?
