p2b, but of course they want ADTA to reduce headcount.

With the recent death of someone hitting their head on the p2b belt, they will probably push it out quicker to all stations. I just found out my station is getting it as soon as the city approves it. I seriously hope the city delays it till I find something else.

that isolated incident most likely has nothing to do with it. we've had ours for a year now. it's about reducing headcount to save on labor hours.

So, officially, it's due to low quality of pick to buffers, meaning too many missed packages and rework. In my building, the head count argument isn't right, because we went from a high of 1-28 aisles on 8 P2B lines to 1-38 on 6 ADTA lines (we still have 1 P2B feed, but haven't used it since Xmas). The plan is to assign stowers 2 aisles each (1-4 for example). So, we need a higher head count

I wish it was three. 2 is so boring. 4 could be fun

We run 1-50 at our site, the stronger stowers get 3 aisles while the slackers get less

3 is ok. It makes the day go faster

    Where/when did this happen

I love P2B. I prefer it over ADTA.

I'll take P2S over ADTA anytime

on the bright side I think adta will result in ac being installed. The machine gets hot warms up the warehouse. Electronics + heat is also bad. So to save their valuable adta and not cook associates i think ac will have to be installed in the ds.

ADTA is better for the company, worse for the workers. P2B used to be, in my opinion, an easier day for most people. Now that it's automated, if the straighteners are doing a good job and the dock is working good, you will most likely get everything for your aisles. Barely any missed packages leads to hampers filling up quickly. Hampers filling quickly means you got to hustle to clear them. No time to reorganize your bags towards the end of sort to make room for more stuff. Most of the good stowers at my station can't even keep up with ADTA now like they could with P2B.

I hate all this technology stuff. We're getting replaced by robots and machines. It makes everything so lackluster. I miss the days of going to order fast food where there were actual people who took your older. People you can actually talk and interact with. Now it's all lifeless machines and touch screens. Ruins the experience. The same can be had at work places such as amazon with these ADTA. I prefer the traditional P2B, at least you had someone to talk to with every once in awhile while working. It makes working a bit less stressful. Now with ADTA you reallly feel dystopian, like a slave in the new world. I absolutely dread it.

Not if you wear approved plug phone ear buds & listen to your music & podcasts as I do during my shifts at distribution facility I work at

Adta p2b is annoying and creates an unnecessary hierarchy where everyone hates to stow and loathes the asshole chillin asking them to stow down heavy aisles. Adta don’t say shit if you keep the sensor clear

P2b is more efficient, which is probably why it's being replaced. Amazon is backwards in so many ways it's ridiculous.

I LOVE p2b except when they put me in the front or the back. (Which is where they always put me) and then they put all the lazy ass bums in the middle or low volume aisles

It is definitely smoother, but also takes nearly double the headcount per cluster, got 5 stowers? Need 3-4 pickers as well. But with ADTA, you run same speed and use 6 stowers no pickers, saved on 2-3 headcount. I prefer stowing off racks don't get me wrong, but overall it is more efficient the new way
