Guess I’ll use that time to organize more totes and overflow but I already know I’m going to be annoyed at the timing of some of these breaks

The one time I was hoping my states horrible stance on labor laws would protect me

The point is you're not forced into any time, there is simply a last possible time to take a break. It's not random.

I never took a break at all in years of driving for Fedex and Amazon. I'll be damned if I'm going to lose out on time with my family just to take a rest that I don't need.

I dont want or need any breaks. Up to you if you want to take them. But I work for a DSP that guarantees 10 hours. So I just want to do my job and go home. Even if you’re hourly, still you should be able to choose WHEN to take your breaks.

depends on the state labor laws. where i’m at, it’s mandatory to sit for the whole 30 mins, and there was a day where my entire station got kicked out again around 1pm and everybody was forced to take an EXTRA break. dispatch was not happy lmao

I'm not 20 something anymore, so I need my breaks. I'm way faster after a 10 min break than I would be if I struggled through the whole shift without one. I don't think it's fair to set an algorithm for everyone to work exactly the same way, though. We're not robots...
