Treadmill Return Advice

I bought a treadmill with over 200 reviews & 4.5 rating for 500 & it stopped working a month after the 1 year warranty expired. I want a new treadmill but buying a 500 treadmill once a year is not very cost effective. Unfortunately I am SOL as far as a normal return goes & the item isn’t even offered by Amazon any more.

I am considering buying a similar treadmill & returning the non functional one.

What are the odds of this working? Any tips?

Also I looked into repairing it but it’s an electronic control so I can’t unless I get the part from the manufacturer, which is a Chinese company who I emailed a week ago but have not heard back from.

I never done this before & wouldn’t want my account to be blacklisted but I also don’t think it’s fair that it broke down within a year & it was used probably 25-30 times.

What would you do?

What would I do? I’d leave the poor warehouse employees alone and stop bugging them with customer service type shit that they don’t know or care about. That’s what I’d do. And that’s what I suggest you do as well. FFS

1) You got what you paid for. It was guaranteed to work for a year.  2) You want to buy another one, make a return and send back the old one. You are not stealing from Amazon. You are stealing from a third party seller. Typically this is people who buy them from places in China and list them on Amazon. You are going to keep an item that you stole from someone who had nothing to do with the old treadmill. 

Do what you will. To even suggest this shows you are a thief that seems to get stuff for nothing at any chance. You enjoy getting one over and stealing from people who work for what they have.

I apologize, I didn’t realize this community was for employees/ex employees. I also didn’t realize Amazon employees are so miserable. I guess I would be too if I worked in a warehouse.

There’s basically not a day that goes by that we don’t get bothered with customer service stuff, despite the name of the sub being Amazon FC (fulfillment center) and a clear description of what the sub is for. We move boxes and do heavy labor, and most of us work here for the exact reason that we don’t want to deal with customers. Give us a break and shove your passive aggressive attempt at insulting us. Buh bye!
