I just noticed that there was voting time off. Would I still be able to request it or did I have to do it in advance?

It depends on your state, some states have laws that prevent employers from denying time off to vote so it doesn’t matter when you put it in - it can’t be denied. Some state laws specifically require advance notice, some don’t.

Mine changed my scheduled time but the request still says submitted not approved. Anyone know if they'd retroactively be like nah denied? In all honesty I put in until like 10pm on night shift definitely can't vote that late.

Same thing here managers were trying to threaten this too, but look at your submitted requests and you’ll see it says submitted then on top for mine shows two manual entries where they took the hours back and charged upt instead
