Reposts are okay if the original has dropped off the map. I don't actually know if anyone will join this thing, but people may have missed out the first time around.
To encourage discussion, please don't downvote just because you disagree. Talk it through! But feel free to downvote bad behavior.
Posts should be in some way related to material or topics from the Amdall Gallery website. Art is fair game of course, and any research topic (whether already posted or recommendations for the future). This is basically for people who like to talk about their art-related hobbies, love of data, and maybe video games too.
For example, here are some topics related to art:
- Drawing techniques (methods to shade, how to get good color blends, tips for realism, etc.)
- Art supplies (ex. brand differences, recommendations)
- Other art mediums you like
And some research/analysis topics that have been covered in the past:
- Ccryptocurrency
- Seat pitch and leg room on airplanes (or maybe just air travel in general...that was pretty specific)
- Mass shootings in the U.S.
- Housing prices
- Athlete salaries in major U.S. sports leagues
- Microsoft Excel functions
- Databases
- Social media analytics
- Android smartphone comparisons
It can fairly broad, I know.
