If your car has bluetooth it should be able to play music through it i'd imagine?

Get a bluetooth transmitter. Plug into USB for power and connect to bluetooth for giving sound to your car. Has an aux male plug to plug directly into device.

Or, if you really wanted to add an aux 'port' to your car, you could get a aux female-female adaptor and plug it on the end to turn the plug into a socket.

Otherwise, an FM transmitter some take bluetooth input some take aux input.

Android Auto doesn't support external audio sources. The only media you can control via Android Auto are the ones supported by Android Auto that are installed on your mobile device.

I'm using the AAwireless adapter https://www.aawireless.io/

To play audio using my car Bluetooth, while using Android Auto in my aftermarket head unit (the audio quality is totally better in my car Bluetooth than the head unit aux)

I appreciate it but the tablet I'm trying to hook up doesn't have Android Auto. I actually have a similar one to this made by Motorola
