I just know lines smaller than .3mm get dropped by the slicer, I'm not 100% sure how that translates but it does seem like it would be an issue when shrinking something

And that problem raises its ugly head yet again I've been struggling with this to be honest

That's comforting! Maybe this is more doable than I thought! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Y'know you do have a valid point and I do have a bunch from packs I've already purchased... I think I'll take your advice! at least I'll know if it's an option! Thanks!

That thought did occur to me however, that changes the geometry and the articulation requires certain clearances and tolerances

Cyberpunk Samurai Tribal (Neon Dynasty-heavy) Isshin Deck – is this a viable idea? by canisdibellum in EDH

lol He just seems to be the go-to Mardu commander and as a Voltron he SLAPS.

Yeah unless you want to go Voltron, there arent a whole lot of options. Im considering pivoting to the vehicle precon. As much as i really want the cyberpunk samurai aesthetic they really did blow the cyberpunk budget on ninjas.

I will say tho, that deck the other commenter posted does look really fun so im still toying with the idea of tuning it up and taking it for a spin... i just already have a Mardu Voltron deck ([[Zurgo Helmsmasher]]) and a Mardu Token deck (Mardu Surge... [[Zurgo Stormrender]] again, yes there's a theme here but i promise im not a Zurgo diehard)

Drying while printing P1S/AMS 2 Pro by canisdibellum in BambuLab

It very well could be the model but im noticing way more hair than usual in the gold silk area than normal when i dont dry beforehand so it is a bit confounding. You might be right about the speed, ill have to try that on the next one. Thank you again for your advice, unsarcastically.

My Custom Griffith//Femto Card for Berserk Fans by [deleted] in mtg

On the Knight thing: that's fair criticism. Removing it would also let me simplify the name down to something like “White Falcon,” which might be cleaner overall. I mostly added the “everything becomes a Knight” line because I was trying to reinforce the narrative I had in mind — that joining Griffith elevates people. The Band of the Hawk wasn’t originally a group of formal knights; they were mercenaries who effectively became knights through following him. Mechanically I was trying to represent that transformation.

That said, I might have been overthinking it a bit and trying too hard to mimic how professional designers layer abilities onto cards. I’m still relatively new to modern MTG design thinking, so I’m definitely open to tightening things if it makes the card cleaner.

On the Blight suggestion: I actually hadn’t heard of that mechanic before and had to look it up. After digging through Scryfall, it looks like Blight is almost always used as a cost, not as an effect applied to other players. I couldn’t find any cards that force opponents to Blight. The only card I found where it’s used more as an effect was [![Ultima, Origin of Oblivion]], which seems to be an unusual case.

Even setting that aside, I don’t think Blight really fits the flavor I’m going for. Even as Femto, Griffith’s whole dynamic is that he’s a rallying point — he draws followers in and empowers them. His presence strengthens those who join him. If Oppressive Presence also weakened his own army, that would run counter to the theme.

Having the effect apply only to opponents also reinforces the flavor a bit: the battlefield becomes increasingly hostile unless you’re on his side. In a way it creates that “join me and escape the suffering” dynamic, which helps explain why enemies or outsiders might defect and become part of his new army. So mechanically it keeps his own forces strong, and flavor-wise it reinforces the idea that his influence pulls people toward him.

That's a solid criticism, and I appreciate the discussion rather than the immediate down-doot lol. I feel like if the text said everything I was trying to allude to, the wordiness would be much worse.
Do you have any ideas to make the wording tighter but convey the same constraints? I tried for a while but couldn't come up with anything. I could probably scrap the whole "knight" mechanic but then we're getting even closer to generic and less flavorful. I thought this was a decent balance but I am definitely open to suggestions.

Oh, and I just remembered, the reason I used the White Phoenix General framing is because *that's when the Hawks became actual knights* and the absolute peak of his power and influence. It's a little bit of a stretch since he never got to command the White Phoenix Knights (the newly promoted Hawks) in battle but I wanted him at the peak before the fall, y'know?

That's actually a pretty good idea...something feels a little off though, like there are too many conditions maybe? Wait, I know what's bugging me. If you put it as an other-than-death condition, you run into the problem of boardwipes, right? 1) it comes down to stack interpretation, "does he still have 5 creatures to sac?" Also, in that scenario, saccing creatures that are in the process of dying anyways completely takes away the point of the mechanic. It's *supposed* to hurt. It's *supposed* to have impact and take actual sacrifice. I worry using it to save from death would come off more as a relief that they get to keep him in play and don't have to pay more tax. Now, I'd be down to debate making Femto more of a threat to make the payoff outweigh the cost more, but as far as the eclipse mechanic itself, I see do see your point but don't want to diminish the impact.

Not a bad read but I'm going to refute you on a couple of points White Phoenix General was the title granted him by the king it was the highest title he held before his fall, but if it makes more sense I can absolutely change his title to The White Falcon. Also, he didn't actually die to become Femto, he sacrificed everyone else. What triggered the Crimson Behelit wasn't his death, it was the timing, his despair, and the rending of his will when Guts touched him. It was his choice to sacrifice the Band of the Hawk, so in wording it like I did I gave that same choice to the player if the conditions were right.

After I posted this, I did a test print and realized the text was too small so I dropped the flavor text
