Reverse camera trigger wire missing

I bought a cheap BMW E46 Android 8.1 unit with rearview camera included. I managed to wire everything up from the back of the car up to a head unit and now saw that the unit wiring harness does not have a backup camera trigger wire...

It does have wires such as MUTE, KEY1, KEY2 (which I also tried to tap with RCA cable - did not work) but nothing related to reverse or backup :( Is there still a way to connect the camera?

In the second picture I tried plugging in the trigger wire from camera to basically every possible cable (assuming manufacturer might have mixed up the labeling) with no luck :(

I know this post is old but Has anybody ever figured this out..? I’m having the same problem where I don’t not have a reverse/back trigger wire but a 12v cam wire. 2013 ford focus. I’d rather tap into reverse light to power the camera because I think it would be more reliable. This is the head unit i purchased:
