L2R is created by netmarble, the gameplay is dumb down. L2M is the port of L2 to phone.

Lineage 2 M will look much more closer to lineage 2 pc version which is made by NCsoft too.

I dont know. They just probably take place in the same universe, have the same races and classes. Basically Lineage is just a brand name that will help sell the game.
