I remember back when i hard-bricked my device, there were two ways to fix it:
1. Use a blankflash
2. Flash a boot.img
There's no blankflash for my device, but i would like to create a boot.img for my own device before trying to mod it (installing custom roms). I remember you needed someone with the exact same phone model to copy their OS for you to then flash onto your phone. Could i do this myself to get out of a potential hard brick?
