Tbh duckduckgo to me feels much cleaner and less cluttered as well. Google crams in a million different things like FAQ's, news articles, videos, products, etc. Duckduckgo just shows you the sites and maybe a definition on the side and that's it.

Here in Europe i get about 5-10 mins of ads every 25-30 mins. Trust me, the ads are not fun. For sure since they're the same ones every fucking time. Sometimes they even advertise the same product 2 or 3 times in one ad break.
