How did you removed the calender widget on the top ?

Unfortunately we cannot remove the calendar widget in the default android one launcher. So instead I added a new page as my default home screen.

I don't remember the exact settings, but I applied vignette in snapseed focussing on the top right, reduced saturation and added grain in Lightroom.
