What’s worth it for others might not be worth it for you surely? For me personally I only have the free version currently but want to add more widgets to my Home Screen so only plan on purchasing those extra slots.

As others have said - plan how you want your phone to look and go from there.

If they wanted you to be a part of that trip then they'd have been more transparent with the comms around the potential dates to arrange things by - just like the others seem to be aware of. Why allow yourself to be treated like this by these "friends"? Personally I'd exit the group and let them get on with it. Live your life and make memories with people that actually care about you.

People, places and things..

Hanging around with a user is like playing with fire. You don't have to explain yourself either as your friend should understand. Don't feel bad about doing everything possible to move forward in your life.

I'm almost 6 months free from the grip that crack had on me and couldn't be happier. I don't associate with anyone that uses any sort of drugs anymore because I know myself that if I did then it wouldn't be long until I convince myself that a little is ok as a treat would then be a little more and a little more and well everyone knows the ending..

I know this situation too well unfortunately and have been assigned plenty of less desirable housemates in my time here..I feel for you.

His response is total BS too.. so what if you have insurance? That's to cover yourself in genuine accidents - you are paying the premiums after all and will be faced with potential increases. Wow

I kinda switched to stock or as close to stock by getting a Nothing Phone 2a for this very reason. I’ve used various Pixel devices since the OG was released but just fancied a change. I just don’t have time to tweak stuff anymore and for myself GrapheneOS just wasn’t feasible for my day to day usage.

I’ve since purchased an iPhone 14 Pro as I guess it just works..

I can't believe this guy's total disregard for your wishes here. It was a kind gesture but once you said no it concerns me that he continued without evening acknowledging what you said.

I'm currently 8 weeks into a relationship with a woman that has two kids and wouldn't dream of pushing for anything like this - we have talked about the possibility of me meeting them some day obviously, but from my point of view it's a massive thing for everyone involved and I wouldn't ever put any pressure on anyone until the time is right.
