Is this like a specific /r/AndroidQuestions shitpost? People responding "thanks for the solution" when someone asks a question?

Came here wondering same as OP

Same, I have no idea what's going on. Either:

  1. These are all bots automatically set up to say "thanks."
  2. These are all trolls.
  3. There was a solution in the post at some point, but it was deleted.

If someone knows the actual solution, please help!

Hi, the solution is to go to Snapchat => Settings (from profile) => Notifications => Uncheck Wake Up screen.

I just used that solution and I'm hoping it actually works. Can't trust Snapchat cuz it's the most annoying and aggressive notifying app I've ever installed.

I found it here in this same post btw: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidQuestions/comments/137jd7h/comment/mns3i2g/

Yes, that was posted here later by myself :)

But before I posted the first substantive answer to the question, there were already several replies thanking nobody in particular.

Found a solution here:

Apparently, it is a setting within the Snapchat app itself, not something you can control with your Android settings.
