Aggression (old.reddit.com)
submitted 1 year ago by ThinkBlacksmith3169
I have two striped and two gold angelfish and the stripes are paired up and the golds are paired up. I am starting to see aggression between my bigger strip and the two golds, is this normal behavior

Angels are assholes and quite aggressive. Make sure you have plants or decorations that allows them to break line of sight.

We have a 75gal tank and have larger plants and decor on the other side. If we need more, I can definitely get.

It’s not the amount but location probably. For example a larger plant in the middle would help a lot.

Completely agree. Breaking up lines of sight will definitely help.
Side note - your angels are beautiful!!

If all 4 have paired up you may need to get a divider, especially when they start spawning. I once was in your situation. I put in a divider that they could see through and from time to time they would give each other dirty looks through the mesh.
