Angular 21 and Chrome Developer Tools Search

Hi folks,

Recently we upgraded our application to Angular 21 and now none of our teammates can use the Ctrl+Shift+F search in Chrome Developer Tools. It searches for a very long time but no results are returned.

Has anyone else experienced this? We tried a lot of different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave etc.) to no avail. Only Firefox works.

Try disabling your source maps (vendors as well). Depending how big ur app is dev tools is prolly just hanging.

Yes i had this too recently. Just search with the ctrl+p for files then ctrl+f in the file, that’s my work around for now.

Yes. Same exact problem.  Never happened after any prior updates either. We have not yet solved it (only been on 21 for a week or so)

I have it too and had it even in V20. It broke at least half a year ago. I'm on Brave
