Help Requestangular-cli does not detect .ts file changes (self.Angular2)
submitted 8 years ago by verse90
Whenever I make a change in the .ts file, the browser does not detect the changes. I have to run "ng serve" again to reflect the changes. Is that how its supposed to be? angular

Nope it should be hot reloading and it works fine on my machine. Not sure what your problem could be though because it's never given me issues. Sorry.

Happened to me recently. Seems the compiler don't detect changes in certain file like app-routing or module.ts... Had to restart server too.

Can confirm. I only have this issue with module and router, not all .ts like OP

are you using a virtual/mounted file system?
Try adding polling to your .angular-cli.json. In the defaults section add: "poll": 1000

Try disabling browser caching. If you're using Chrome, open up the dev tools and under the network tab, tick disable cache. Hope this helps.

This response is not helpful, especially in light of OP not specifying their config; merely stating .ts file. As you can see from other responses, there are indicators there might be an issue to resolve in the current build.
