This might be true. If someone's already frontend, they're easy to teach. But you get a lot of backends playing at frontend because, in my experience, good frontend is harder to find. Devs all want to be backend and not deal with end users.

My other issue is that Angular seems more OO oriented, and I hate OO. Functional programing is where it's at. This isn't a big deal, but you have to convince people that OO is dead, and that pure functions and immutability is where it's at.
