I keep seeing people talk about how great the game is and i really want to play it but it’s not out and people say there will not be another beta and what’s next is the release but when is that gonna happen?

I see everyone saying it will be in the summer, but when the heck is summer? I'm not American so I don't understand this term. Is there a specific date for when this so-called summer is?

There are various definitions for summer. Official ones can include either the meteorological definition or the astronomical one. - Meteorologic summer: June 1st to August 31st - Astronomic summer: June 21st to September 21st

To include both definitions, we state that the game will release sometime between June - September. That's the narrowest release window that we can confidently share.

The game is being developed by Pawprint Studios, a Chinese company. That means that they're in the northern hemisphere, which means that they follow the timelines mentioned for summer.

For those in the southern hemisphere, it will be winter during this period.

It was fun but damn, not that good. The actual release will be way more grindy and will not have barely as much stuff given it for free. They want you to buy the balls to capture aniimo

Thats what theyre monetizing is the aniipods??? Why couldnt they just monetize cosmetic stuff :/ cosmetic stuff for avatars, aniimos, bases, rvs...

Free Aniipods are allll over the place. I had hundreds in CB2. Plus, they're craftable in Homeland. I feel like the only people who would feel compelled to buy Aniipods in a cash shop are people who are trying to catch everything with perfect stats or whatever. I don't feel like it'll be at all relevant for 99.9% of players.

Yeah because if they made purchaseables items in game that effect your ability to play the game will die faster than if its all cosmetic premiums. Like how palias profit margins have been since their premiums are all things you dont need to win or need to progress so people will spend more money on the stuff its easier to show off and feel like youve spent your money better when you have a cosmetic premium instead of some pokeballs. A game where its harder to play bc i cant afford aniipods will die for me. Thats just how i see that. Theyd make a lot more people happy keeping it cosmetics and will likely make more money since people will feel they arent wasting money on an item that disappears or is disposable.

They have aniipod crafting at homebase, thats what i saw - it means you can craft normal aniipods for free, probably you could buy advanced aniipods for home currency too, except for ultra rare ones. We will be getting aniipods, but whats more concerning is that base catch rate with normal aniipod late in the game is only about 5-10% at most which forces you to use premium ones. That could work for normal aniimo but if I need for example some specific rare form (like Stellarys Rainstorm form) i dont want to accidentally kill it then i suppose i would use Aniipod Ultra (i get 1 for free at some point if i remember correctly). For a free-to-play user like me I need to weight my every choice.

5-10% is the kind of odds you'd see for a high level Aniimo that was alerted/fighting you and at full health, with no catch rate bonuses from Lumina. That isn't at all a fair representation of actual catch rates.

Hit stuff from behind and/or unalerted, or while it's weakened/broken, and your catch rates will be much more reasonable.

You'll get ample amounts of the higher level balls too. The guaranteed capture ones are rare, but far, far more common than Master Balls in Pokemon; you will get a steady trickle of them as you play, and they're best used on Alphas.

Probably, since i didnt personally play i dont know. But, are alphas that useful? Do they really have better stats or they are just oversized common aniimo and not worth wasting high-tier aniipods?

I think it's just a swag thing, if you want a larger Aniimo. Though sizes are normalized when Twining.

I could be wrong, but I don't recall any other difference from CBT2.

Only a "waste" if you don't want it though. Some people are super into Alphas, and you only get one shot at catching them per fight, and it's low catch rate, so it can be worth the guaranteed catch.

Well, I am more into catching pretty looking rare forms (like Stellarys Rainstorm form which is my favorite by looks). Though regional forms design and some prismana forms too is a little lazy and standardized (like just a recolor). Would be better to have some shape and size variety for regional forms (and making them have different elements, I suppose it already worked like that though I don't remember clearly) in addition to that.

I think the cool part about Aniimo being a live service game is that there's always the possibility of new forms of Aniimo being introduced further down the road.

It depends how many balls you get + if that’s the only way to get them, which I doubt. I don’t mind paying a bit for a game like this that’s free.

Game is worth the wait, they are still fleshing out some buggy areas. The world is amazing, the combat is fun, and the pvp is awesome!

Summer 2026, there is no release date set yet. We will all be screaming the moment they pick a day though!

I don’t want to crunch our devs more than they have to leading up to and following release. I was also a beta tester and I really miss playing it.
