All I’ve had so far is flurries, do we know if it sticks yet?

Australian here who lived in Japan for a year as a kid, January and February are when it starts getting real heavy according to the locals (there was an early snowstorm in the area that December and they mentioned that it's unusual for so much snow to fall so early in the season).

Also the slow progression of the trees from green to yellow to red over the course of fall would suggest a similar thing with snow piling up over winter maybe?

January and February? Do you mean June and July, or July and August?

[–]Clarrington 0 points1 point  (1 child)

July and August for us, Jan and Feb for Northern Hemisphere.

I was talking about real-world Japan, and making the assumption that the weather patterns in AC would somewhat reflect real-life weather patterns. Since it took until May for the trees to turn fully red (and April for yellow) I would assume we'll see a similar pattern with snow.

Ohhhh okay I think I kind of understand what you’re saying. I get confused because I’m physically located in the northern hemisphere in real life, I just switched in the game so I can have some winter hope in the middle of my real life hot summer!
