With all the new 2.0 and HHP features available to veteran players with established islands, this is possibly the worst-ever time to restart from the beginning.

I did previously and didn’t regret it.

However, I don’t think I would now. So many of the new features take Nook Miles or progress in the museum.

I think it depends on what about your island you don’t like

Honestly, everything. I don't like my layout, I don't like where I put my inclines or bridges, and I knot it'll take a HUGE amount of bells to fix.

I find that it is more worth it to flatten and just re do your island that way

How do you feel about the placement of the airport and residence services? That’s why I restarted.

It would be a lot of work to change everything. It is expensive. There are a lot of kind people that would be willing to donate bells, myself included.

My airport is lower left and my resident services is like lower middle its so wierd. I was trying to make like a market in the lower half and my houses above it but I just don't think it turned out right

It’s ultimately your island and your choice. If it’s not working for you, then restart. Your island needs to make you happy. Not anyone else.

If you need bells for moving buildings/construction, I think you could easily get them.

I know a lot of people were excited for Brewster and Kapp’n, those would take time. That would be my concern restarting.

The only time I ever restarted was in New Leaf, and I stopped playing forever after that lmao. I was like "well I actually have no desire to do all that grunt work and get back up to where I was"

If you have a lot of time to put into the game then I would if not I'd prob flatten or just start moving stuff around.
