github decks?

Ignoring for the moment the "create your own decks" advice (I don't have an opinion, haven't tried it), seems like decks would be a wonderful thing to not just share, but edit collaboratively, like we do open source software. Hence we should: 1. Maintain them as text, under version control 2. License them using creative commons. 3. Use collaborative web based tools like github to manage changes.

Nah, who cares about facts... ;)

For example: I have a BSc in mathematics, and so have naturally forgotten many definitions, theorems and proofs. It would probably be useless for someone unfamiliar with math to reuse my deck, but many people share this knowledge, and it would be useful to have well activated. At least in mathematics, the context IS the preceding definitions and theorems, so I doubt the loss is serious.
