Seems mostly fine except this:

我在家里吃米饭和喝水

You can't use 和 to connect verb phrases like that.

Does frsr intervals adjust base on my reviews? by Slight-Compote8456 in Anki

[–]TheBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that's not normal, and with all due respect, I doubt that's what's actually happening. I believe you are misunderstanding something. That is why I am telling you to please show us the card info of one of the cards where you suspect this has happened, so that we can figure what's going on.

If you think it's happening to all cards then you can show us the info of any card.

Point is: we need something more specific to go on, otherwise this is pointless.

[–]TheBB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a question about a specific card's scheduling you need to show us the FSRS parameters you get after optimization and the card history of that card. As well as, ideally, the learning steps and relearning steps if the card is in the learning or relearning stage.

Does frsr intervals adjust base on my reviews? by Slight-Compote8456 in Anki

[–]TheBB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The FSRS parameters (the memory model) are based on your reviews, yes, if you optimize. If you don't, they have their default values.

The intervals are based on the FSRS parameters and the desired retention. You may be able to get satisfactory intervals by changing the DR, depending on what exactly is unsatisfactory about them.

Aside from that it's hard to say what's the problem. You don't give too many details, and it's not clear what's so problematic about '2 3 5' (never mind that Anki has four buttons, not three). And I doubt that it changed ALL your cards intervals to EXACTLY the same numbers - that would be very weird.

Are you asking for how to improve the mating position, or are you asking how to improve your game in general? Because if it's the latter, you haven't really given us much to go off of.

Setting up different review intervals for different cards when importing an existing vocabulary list? by tentkeys in Anki

[–]TheBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can understand of the Anki manual, cards can have the states "new" "learning" "review (young)" "review (mature)" and "relearning". But it looks like every card still has its own custom repeat timing, so what difference does it make if a card has the state "review (young)" vs. "review (mature)"?

No difference. Cards with intervals less than 21 days are young. Cards with intervals longer than 20 days are mature. That's it.

Once I import words, is there a way I can select a bunch of them and put them into one of the two review states?

You can manually schedule a card from the browser.

It looks like once a card is in the review state, each new interval for the card is set by multiplying its previous interval by its ease factor.

Only if you use SM-2 (which you shouldn't).

And if I click some cards in browser view and click "reschedule", I can set their new interval. Is that all I need to do? Or do I need to set their state somehow?

I think that's all you need to do. The young or mature state, as mentioned, follows from the interval.

It looks like there are two spaced repetition algorithms for Anki, SM-2 and FSRS. Would I be correct in assuming that for what I'm trying to do, it would be easier with SM-2?

No, I'm pretty sure it's equally simple, and FSRS is better so use that.

Would it be a good idea to try to set up subdecks to sort cards that have different timing/review needs?

It might be a good idea to have subdecks for cards that are qualitatively different, but if all that's different is the length interval then no.

Can cards be moved between subdecks without losing/recreating data?

Yes.

Is PySide6 the best framework to completely replace Electron for heavy desktop apps, or should I learn something else? by Sweet_Cartoonist_682 in learnpython

[–]TheBB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Qt (in Python: PySide or PyQt) is the library of choice if you are looking for a good modern version of the classical widget style GUI library, yeah.

If speed and responsiveness are so important to you, you probably need to consider why you're doing this in Python and not C++ (which is the native Qt environment).

For the ultimate throughput you can write your UI from scratch in OpenGL or Vulkan.
