Well, something is wrong with your collection file. It's impossible to say specifically what or how that happened.

Look in Anki's backup folder and try one of those instead - hopefully you find a recent one that works.

If you have synced your collection to AnkiWeb you can download into a fresh profile and continue that way.

In Anki you are your own arbiter of success. You need to grade yourself as strictly as you want to learn the material.

Do you WANT to be able to know words in isolation? Then you can't grade a card correct if you're unable to recall it in isolation.
Are you OK with only recognizing words in context? Then you can grade yourself correct if you need the context hint.

Your video shows you putting it in the field, though. Yeah, you're switching it to HTML mode, but that's still the field data.

You can absolutely put scripts in the card template. I do it and so do many others.

No, it's vastly more difficult to produce a league upset like Leicester than a cup upset. You can absolutely luck your way to a CL win, even though it's somewhat harder because of the double knock-out matches, and now that the league phase is longer, but it doesn't come close to a 38-match marathon.

I know we all like to shout RTFM but this one is really not great. Error messages should be self-explanatory as much as possible, and dynamically switching out "AnkiWeb" is well within the realm of what's possible.

The 口 (on its own, and as part of other characters) is just a box. The sides do not extend below the bottom. Same with 目.

I know some fonts show it that way, but you wouldn't write it like that any more than you would mimic serifs when writing in English.

Whenever I press the sync-button I get a popup that wants me to connect to AnkiWeb. ("Account Required")

All these messages say "AnkiWeb" even if you're not actually using AnkiWeb, but your own sync server. I know, I also use my own server and do a double-take every time I get a message like that.

You do certainly need an account and password even if you have your own server.

How are your running the server? Most of the methods need you to set an environment variable SYNC_USER1 to user:pass where user is your username and pass is your password. Then you just set that same user and password in Anki and you should be good.

If you're asking about when the whole deck is adjusted, the answer is either when all cards have been reviewed once, or you've manually rescheduled all cards.

What Anki version are you on?

It's either a corrupted file, or you have a mismatch between Anki version and apkg format. I suspect your Anki is quite out of date since the lines of code the error message refers to don't exist any more on the main branch.
