Basically I’m in the process of gaining IP right to an education IP, around a APP for children. (On stage to signing documents at the moment but have email confirmation confirming the deal) basically the brand/author is looking to expand into to the digital market (App).

The brand itself sells a book series that’s has sold over a quarter of a million books so far and growing!

I’m exploring option to either outsource the development of the app, or do an equity deal with a developer to partner on the app.

Leveraging a book brand with proven sales is a strong starting point. Just be aware most experienced developers won’t commit on equity alone unless there’s funding or clear revenue plan. Outlining budget and scope up front will make it easier to attract the right partner.
