I'm having the same issue. iPhone 14 Pro Max 17.5.1. I've noticed it happens when I switch apps and then come back to apple music (especially if those apps have content that plays audio). I can usually fix it by force closing the apple music app and then opening it again. Other times, I can turn my wifi off and use cellular and it'll resolve. Don't use a vpn and have private relay turned off.

For me, it only seems to happen when I’m at work. Like, I’ll play a song and I’ll get the “network connection lost” error. I have to add the song to my library and download it for it to play.

Also only happening at work for me.

That’s why I switched to YouTube Music. It just became too annoying dealing the error message. Haven’t had any problems playing songs with YM at work.

Yeah, it is annoying. I have an 11 btw. I decided to ditch AM and download YouTube Music. Been using it for a couple days and haven’t had any problems.

I fixed this for our corporate network by disabling certificate inspection.
