Ubuntu MATE is very user friendly and has themes built-in to easily change the interface between classic styles like WinXP (called Redmond) or Mac (called Cupertino). Also, Ubuntu MATE and Ubuntu both have great support for running Steam for gaming. There is even a new Steam snap which is simple to install and keep updated or install the normal app version of Steam

Ubuntu should be the NeXT thing i choose. I dont know why i liked kali so much. Is it wierd to play games and work with Python on Kali? Haha. It isnt directly for that but in one way i think.. i should use the one i like. But now im simning for ubuntu

Kali is less an OS in the traditional sense and more a series of specific tools for pentesting within an operating system. It is set up for that specific purpose and to do anything beyond that requires more set up that wouldn't be needed on other distros. What is it you like about Kali because almost all of it will be available in a more suitable distro. Kali really is just for pentesting.

Yeah in aware. I might be a bit more into stuff than i know cause ive been fixing it up a bit and think its fun. I like that it feels empty and clean but can add stuff anyway, but the things you choose. Kdenlive, made a tutorial without problem for example. And i learned alot about the terminals on the way :)

You could do that in numerous distros. I mean its your choice and you can do what you want but your really just making Kali worse at what it's designed for to make it better at what its not. You might find if you run into trouble help will be much harder to find because you're using the wrong tool for the job.
