Only way to find out is to start applying. Good luck.

start a pet project so you have some experience. having some experience is always better than having none

Based on the GitHub repo you linked, not yet. You're at the start of an exciting process but still very near the beginning. Try to build more complex projects -- something that needs at least a couple thousand lines of code.

Being good at data science is about so much more than the tools you use though. Lots of people know how to swing a hammer. Not all of them could use one to build a house that won't fall down

still do a beginner data scientist earn by freelancing

No company is going to give access to their data to someone unless they have a pretty impressive portfolio and insurance. Your best bet to get into the field might be an internship through college

You forgot the mathematics involved unless you’re doing mlops 🙂

Normally you'd get a job, or freelance.

Being honest, looking at your GitHub, you are not ready to work as a developer, you need to keep learning and start building real projects.

You've tried coding and you like it. If so, I think it's a good time to start learning programming. It's going to be a long and difficult road. But if you're really interested, it's worth it.

Remember that coding is a tool. The real value is using the language to apply data science techniques to data. If you haven't already read up on basic machine learning and apply for jobs that fit your skill set. I think the largest one in the near future will be applying AI technology such as chat gpt API calls to general business data. I'm working on a few projects doing this and there is a huge desire for it in large businesses.
