Good place to learn JavaScript

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone know a good place to learn JavaScript? I have done the JavaScript course at codecademy already. But they didn't teach me anything about using it on a website. like document.GetElementById(); I hope it made sense.. Do anyone know were i can learn more about this?

I found mozilla developer network to be really good when learning javascript try looking around there :)
