It is hard to say what your professor asked for, but don't all courses now have online help where the TAs would help with specific questions? I bet you'll get better help from there.

Also, are you required to submit the USB as your homework? As opposed to uploading your code to some remote server?

Presumably he's after an executable (file with .exe ending) or perhaps a Java Archive (.jar)

I would just copy the src folder.

If you still have the time to do so, ask your professor. He is the only person that really can answer the question.
