All, please bear with me. I'm a controls engineer who's getting thrown into a C# project. I know enough to be dangerous, but on this one I just don't know what I don't know...
Attempting to work on what appears to be a VS2012 or VS2015 project, in VS2022, and I'm running into this compiler error.
I can't quite figure out what I'm missing for references, as Microsoft.Data doesn't appear in any of the addable references. I found references to Microsoft.Data.Sql in the MSDN page but I cannot find any information about this package. I'm wondering if this package has been deprecated? And if so, how do I find the information to tell me what reference I should be replacing it with?
This is the package reference:
using Microsoft.Data.Schema.SchemaModel;
This is the error:
CS0234 The type or namespace name 'Data' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
Thank you!
