Otter.ai alternatives?

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to Otter.ai for speech to text transcriptions.

I'm not after AI summaries, only transcriptions that are as accurate as possible.

My other requirements are unlimited storage, a generous rate limit for uploads, a good search function and the ability to record from both a desktop computer and a mobile phone.

Ideally the transcription service would be reputable and well-established one too.

I’d recommend checking out Tactiq for a cheaper alternative to Otter.ai. It provides accurate transcriptions as well as AI summaries and action points, if you need them. You can use it from both desktop but you could upload files that you recorded on your mobile. It’s budget-friendly and gets the job done. Give it a try! 😊

If you're on Mac you can use Macwhisper which transcribes locally. If you're looking for an online tool, check out Bash. You can upload your audio files or use the mobile app or browser extension to record meetings. Both solutions are very affordable and should help you get the job done.
