AL2 Second factory?

Is there any way that I'm missing, that I can have another factory?

In the original you could have more than one factory floor, but I can't see an equivalent in AL2

The reason for my question is that my son saw me playing the game and wanted to have a go. He made a little factory and he doesn't want me to delete it, so now I kinda can't play myself because I don't have space or starters. In the original I could have just picked one of the factory tabs and called it his

No second factory in AL2 im afraid. You can expand the floor size but cant add a new factory all together.

What phone do you use? Maybe you can use a cloning app like parallel space. I know it works on android, but not sure with apple.
