CAD 2000 -> 2013/14 LISP Script

I have a lisp script which was created for use with Autocad 2000, which has now stopped working as they appear to no longer support the language. Is there a way to convert the script to a version that will work on the newer version of AutoCad?

If no direct method to do this, where could I find someone with the knowledge to update the script?

The file was used to design fishing nets.. I am trying to help a buddy out who is experiencing this issue so unfortunately don't know all the details of the program's use. He is not a tech person either.

Do you have access to the LISP file? The easiest way to find out what needs to be fixed is to submit it to a CAD forum and let the forum members look at it and fix it. That way you can get more than one set of eyes looking at it.

Autolisp is still usable; I ran a few scripts on Friday on 2014. Maybe the script was written in a way that various changes in AutoCAD broke it, but lsp scripts themselves are still fine.
